Heritage Guild Family Firearm Safety: 1.5 hours... classroom only
This course will prepare you and your family to properly handle a wide variety of firearms. It consists entirely of classroom time, with no live fire portion. Students will learn how to properly handle, store, and clean a firearm, how ammunition works, how to identify different types of firearms and actions, and how to safely unload a firearm. Course focuses strongly on storage methods and educating children on the proper way to handle any encountered firearm both inside and outside the home.

HR218 Retired Officers Qualifier: 1.5 hours...
The Heritage Guild offers HR 218 qualifier courses for retired officers who reside in New Jersey or Pennsylvania. The process generally takes 1.5 hours by our FBI Firearms Instructor.

NRA Range Safety Officer Certification Course: 8 hours...
This NRA course is designed to prepare individuals who posess basic firearms knowledge to run a live fire range, indoor and outdoor ranges are covered. Upon completion of this course students will become NRA certified Range Safety Officers. Certified Range Safety Officers are required for all Boy Scouts of America shooting events, NRA sanctioned shooting comepitions and events, as well as many other shooting events and practically every commercial shooting range and gun club.

Utah Concealed Carry Course: 4 hours... classroom only
This course qualifies each student to carry a concealed firearm in the state of Utah and all states that share reciprocity with Utah. This is a non firing course. 4hrs of classroom instruction. This course includes: Utah CCW Course Material, Utah application packet, and fingerprints. Each student will need to submit their application and all applicable documentation and fees to the state of Utah. PA residents will need to supply a copy of their concealed carry permit.

Level I Tactical Handgun Course: 8 hours... 3 hours classroom, 5 hour range
This course is for the experienced handgun owner. This is a non-NRA course that focuses on using a handgun as a weapon to stop a threat. It consists of classroom time, with a lengthy live-fire portion. Students will learn how to properly execute a number of live-fire drills including drawing from a holster, engaging multiple targets, turning and shooting, flash sight picture, tactical and emergency reloads, wounded drills, malfunction drills and proper weapons clearing and preparation.
