What is required to use the range in Easton?

Before you can shoot, you will need to complete an information form, insurance waiver, read and sign the range rules, and watch a safety video. You will need to bring a valid government issued photo ID card (e.g., Drivers License, Passport, Military ID, etc.).

What firearms can I shoot on your range?

All handguns (up to 500 S&W), shotguns (buckshot and slugs only), and long guns (up to 5.56x45 or 7.62x39) can be used on our 50 foot range. Rifles up to 30-06 may be used on our 75 foot range. No black powder firearms may be shot on Heritage Guild ranges.

What types of ammunition can I use at the range?

We allow up to 7.62x39 on our 50 foot range, up to 30 caliber (non-magnum) on our 75 foot range, and currently have no restrictions on handguns. Armor piercing, tracer, and Steel core ammunition are prohibited. No birdshot of any kind may be used on Heritage Guild ranges. No black powder firearms may be shot on Heritage Guild ranges.

What types of targets can I use at the range?

Only paper targets may be shot on Heritage Guild ranges. The range safety officer has final say on what targets may be used at our facility. Targets are available for purchase at the range.

Do I have to buy ammunition at the range or can I bring my own?

No, you may shoot your own ammunition at our range UNLESS you are using a rental firearm. Ammunition is available for purchase for both rental and personal firearms at the range!

Do I have to be a member to use the range in Easton?

No, we are open to the public and you can purchase time by the hour. We also have annual and monthly programs for frequent visitors. Range time is $20 per person, per hour. Memberships start at just $29.99 per month for unlimited range time!

Can I bring my children to the range?

We welcome supervised children 10 and over, with a parent or guardian, on the range and in classes (12 for handgun classes). If minor will be coming with another relative, parental permission will be required. Children cannot be left unattended at any time. Please call (610.258.5500) for more information.

Do you rent firearms?

Yes, we have an extensive collection of over 100 new and vintage firearms ranging from .22 caliber handguns and rifles to .50 AE Desert Eagle and 500 S&W! Do I need any experience to shoot at the range?

No, we allow shooters of any and all experience levels! Our well trained Range Staff will help you get started! We also offer a wide variety of classes for every experience level in our Training Academy and encourage first time shooters to sign up for our beginner's classes.

Do you take reservations?

We are first come first served unless you are a program holder. Become a member and start enjoying your benefits today! View our memberships.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, we allow up to 3 people to share 1 port in the range at a time. Bring your friends and share in the experience!

Do I need a NJ Firearms ID card to shoot at the range?

No, however you must bring a valid government issued photo ID card (e.g., Drivers License, Passport, Military ID, etc.).

Are there any restrictions for range use?

Yes, you must be 18 years old to rent a rifle, 21 years old to rent a handgun unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The minimum age allowed into the range is 10 years old. All persons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If a minor will be coming with another relative, parental permission will be required. Please call (610.258.5500) for more information. Additionally, we recommend to any women who are pregnant that they not use the range due to possible lead exposure. Anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, acts recklessly or irresponsibly, or has been convicted of a felony will not be permitted to use the range.

What should I wear?

We require both ear and eye protection to be worn in the range. Ear and eye protection is available for rent. Eye protection may be clear, yellow, or orange tinted. No dark tinted glasses are allowed. We require closed toe shoes in the range and recommend that you do not wear low cut shirts to avoid getting burned by spent brass casings.

What hours is the range open?

The Easton range is open during store hours. If this is your first time on the range, please arrive at least 1-1/2 hours before closing to complete your paperwork and watch the safety video.
Monday - Wednesday: 10AM - 7PM
Thursday - Friday: 10AM - 8PM
Saturday: 9AM - 8PM
Sunday: 9AM - 6PM

PURCHASING IN NEW JERSEY

HERITAGE GUILD DOES NOT DISPENSE LEGAL ADVICE. THIS SECTION IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

Before you begin shopping for a firearm in NJ, you must obtain the proper state permits. For more information about obtaining proper documentation, visit your local police station or State Police barracks. You are limited to purchasing one gun every 30 days in New Jersey.


HANDGUNS

  • Only NJ residents can obtain a NJ Pistol Purchase Permit.
  • Valid NJ Pistol Purchase Permit and valid government issued photo ID with address and birthdate required. Pistol Purchase Permits obtained from your local police department are valid for 90 days (not 3 months) from issue and may be renewed for an additional 90 days. Permits expire 180 days from the issue date if renewed.
  • When purchasing a handgun in NJ, you must bring a trigger lock, cable lock, or a box capable of being locked before you can take delivery of the handgun. If you do not bring the above in to the store, you will have to purchase a safety device before being allowed to take your handgun home.
  • Permanent Resident Aliens: In addition to the documents listed above, permanent resident aliens must present documentation to establish 3 months of continuous residency in NJ prior to the sale date. Acceptable documents include lease agreements, rental receipts, and utility bills.
  • Non-Resident Aliens: Unless a non-resident alien has a NJ hunting license or a waiver from the Attorney General of the United States, he/she is not allowed to purchase a firearm. If a non-resident alien has one of these, he/she must present it along with documentation of three months continuous residence in NJ prior to the firearms sale.


LONG ARMS

  • Valid NJ Firearms ID card with your current address and valid government issued photo ID with address and birthdate required.
  • Permanent Resident Aliens: In addition to the documents listed above, permanent resident aliens must present documentation to establish 3 months of continuous residency in NJ prior to the sale date. Acceptable documents include lease agreements, rental receipts, and utility bills.
  • Non-Resident Aliens: Unless a non-resident alien has a NJ hunting license or a waiver from the Attorney General of the United States, he/she is not allowed to purchase a firearm. If a non-resident alien has one of these, he/she must present it along with documentation of three months continuous residence in NJ prior to the firearms sale.


AMMUNITION

  • Handgun & Rimfire Ammunition: Valid NJ Firearms ID card with your current address and valid government issued photo ID with address and birthdate required.
  • Permanent Resident Aliens: In addition to the documents listed above, permanent resident aliens must present documentation to establish 3 months of continuous residency in NJ prior to the sale date. Acceptable documents include lease agreements, rental receipts, and utility bills.
