This is an instructor-level training for experienced NRA certified pistol instructors.


What can you expect?

As an NRA certified instructor for Personal Protection in the Home, you will teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual's right to self defense.

  • 100 Rounds of Ammunition
  • Candidates should expect to shoot 100 rounds and pass a qualification with a minimum score of 80%.
